An inside source from the Canadian Department of Homeland Security claims that plans for a Canada-U.S. border wall are in the works. The source, speaking to The American Tribune on terms of anonymity, said that there are fears of mass illegal immigration, and that there are various preventative measures being considered, among these being a border wall.
The Canadian Immigration website has recently gone down multiple times, evidently due to large influxes of visitors following the U.S. elections, and there are some who think these technical difficulties may lead some to resort to illegal methods of entry. There are worries that many of these individuals will be looking to take advantage of the welfare system present in Canada, and will not make positive contributions to the country.
The Canadian Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment.
